Design
for industry and manufacturing
Design services play a key role in industry, supporting design, prototyping and preparing components for production. We carry out technical design for manufacturing, industrial and technology companies that need precise documentation and technical models.
We combine CAD/CAM technology with design experience to support product development, design optimisation and the preparation of parts for further production and technical processes.

Our design services
Technical design supports product development, production optimisation and
more advanced industrial and engineering projects.

Technical 3D models
We provide 3D modelling to support the design of components, structures and technical parts used in industry and manufacturing. 3D models allow a design to be worked out in detail before production.
Modern design tools make it easier to plan structures, analyse geometry and prepare components for further technical and production processes.
Technical documentation for production and CNC
We create CAD/CAM documentation to support production, CNC machining and engineering projects that need precisely defined technical parameters.
Accurate technical documentation makes it easier to prepare production processes and optimise the manufacture of components for industry and manufacturing.
Recreating models and technical components
We provide reverse engineering to recreate models, components and technical parts from existing parts or documentation. It is used, among other things, when updating designs and preparing components to be produced again.
Reverse engineering helps manufacturing and industrial companies analyse designs, recreate parts and develop engineering projects.
Design for efficient production
We design components and technical solutions with production and technical processes in mind. A well-prepared design lowers production costs, increases efficiency and makes technical components easier to produce.
Good technical design makes projects easier to implement and fits designs better to production and technical capabilities.

Frequently asked questions about CAD design and 3D modelling
How do I recreate a machine part that is no longer sold?
We measure or 3D-scan the part, build its 3D model and prepare a working drawing. From that the part can be made again, for example on a CNC machine.
Can you make a technical drawing from an old part or from photos?
Yes. For simple parts, photos with dimensions are enough. For parts with fits we need the part itself to measure. You get a working drawing and a 3D model.
Do you offer 3D scanning of parts?
Yes. A 3D scan helps when a part has a complex shape or no documentation at all. A CAD model ready for production is built from it.
What files will I get after a CAD project?
A 3D model, working drawings in PDF and DWG, and STEP files that open in most CAD programs and can be sent to any production plant.
Can you prepare documentation for CNC machining?
Yes. We prepare CAD/CAM documentation so the part can be made straight away on a CNC machine, including 5-axis.
Can the strength of a structure be checked before it is built?
Yes. We run a finite element analysis (FEA), which shows where the structure is most loaded before the first steel part is made.
Do you design steel structures, canopies, halls and conveyors?
Yes. We design steel structures, trusses, canopies, belt conveyors and machines, with working drawings and parts lists.
Can you design and also build the device?
Yes. After the design we can make the part by CNC machining or welding, so design and production are with one contractor and nothing gets lost on the way.
What should I prepare to get a quote for a CAD project?
Ideally the part to measure or photos with dimensions, an old drawing, a short description of what it is for and how many pieces you need. Send it to biuro@omme.pl.
How much does it cost to design a part or structure in CAD?
The price depends on complexity and on whether we design from scratch or recreate an existing part. We prepare a quote after seeing the part or a description of the task.
From our blog
How to recreate a machine part that is no longer sold
We explain how a 3D model and a working drawing are made from the part alone, what you get and what to prepare for a quote.
What must a drawing include for CNC machining to succeed
Dimensions, tolerances, material and a STEP file. Which mistakes delay a quote.
How a design project works
Our design process is set up to develop models, documentation and technical solutions smoothly and to the project requirements.

Guide: designs, drawings and documentation
We answer the questions we get from customers: what a drawing must include for CNC machining to succeed, and how to recreate a machine part that is no longer on sale.
What must a drawing include for CNC machining to succeed?
What a drawing for CNC machining must include: dimensions, tolerances, material, threads, finish. Is a 3D model enough and which mistakes delay a quote.
How do I recreate a machine part that is no longer sold?
A machine part with no drawing and no replacement can be recreated: measurement or 3D scan, CAD model, working drawing. What you get and what to prepare.
